Verses of Compact in the Holy Quran: A Topical Study

Abstract

          This study focuses on the verses of the compact in the Holy Quran، examining them topically by interpreting the word "compact" and its derivatives as they appear in the Quranic verses. The aim is to clarify their meanings and deduce their potential implications. The word "compact" appears in the Holy Quran with various connotations, each carrying within it a meaning for the word and its derivatives. This study will clarify these connotations by citing the interpretations of the commentators and referencing their opinions. It is divided into two sections: The first section defines the most important terms, both linguistically and technically. The second section is divided into seven points, each addressing a Quranic connotation of the word "compact." This is achieved by reviewing the verses containing the word, presenting the interpretations of the commentators, and deducing their potential meanings by considering their views on the word and its derivatives as they appear in those Quranic texts. It addresses seven Qur’anic indications of the compact and dedicated a section to each indication, along with a statement of the results it has reached, along with recommendations and suggestions.
