Genealogy of Criticism and its Applications in the Analytical Studio: The Play “Revolution from Algeria” as a Mode

Abstract

The genealogy of criticism has formed an important link in cognitive communication in the theatrical field, as criticism has become the starting point for the intellectual depth of the system of relative formation of theatrical discourses and other literary cultures that constitute achievements subject to criticism and analysis, researching the critical and ethical value that is based on the rules emanating from ancient critical approaches in a comprehensive and logical manner that is consistent with the course of critical work in the analytical studio. The research includes four chapters, the first chapter is the methodological framework, which includes the research problem framed in the following question: (How was the genealogy of criticism manifested in the analytical studio, the play “Revolution from (Algeria)” as a model?), and the importance of the research, which included studying the value of the genealogy of criticism and the great importance it carries in critical studies, which was not previously studied, in order to reach the goal of the current research, which is to identify the genealogy of criticism and its applications in the analytical studio, the play “Revolution from (Algeria)” as a model


The research limits: spatially (Iraq) and temporally (2024). The objective limit focuses on studying the genealogy of critical logic and its applications in the analytical studio, theatrical (Revolution from Algeria) as a model, leading to the identification and definition of important research terms.


As for the second chapter (the theoretical framework (consisting of two sections, the first) a study of the genealogical meaning and its development), it included an important tour of studying the nature of genealogy in the field of theatrical and literary criticism, and the second section is entitled Methods of Genealogy of Criticism) through which the rules of contextual and systemic criticism methods are reviewed, and the chapter concluded with indicators, and the third chapter) research procedures, which consists of the research community and the research sample consisting of one theatrical achievement (Revolution from Algeria). As for the research methodology, the researcher adopted the descriptive (analytical) method in the theoretical framework of the research, and the (criticism of criticism) method in analyzing the selected sample, and the research tool: The researcher relied on the observer tool and indicators of the theoretical framework as a research tool, and sample analysis. As for the fourth chapter, it consisted of results, conclusions, recommendations and suggestions, and concluded with a list of sources and references.
