Abstract

The religious factor is one of the important means by which humans rely in their lives. The Islamic religion is what legislated laws and systems for humanity to be guided by. These laws represent salvation from the labyrinths of life. Humans expressed this foundation through various means، including religious poetry, which was considered inseparable from the Islamic cause. Those who embraced Islam became opponents of the religious cause. Furthermore, it became a means to praise and lament the Prophet Muhammad and his family. It also serves as a tool for addressing social issues. Poets adopted this type of poetry as a means to defend their religion and to express their rejection of the bitter reality they lived in. In this research، I attempted to investigate the religious themes in the poetry of Sheikh Muhammad Aal Haydar.
