Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of modern technology in education in Sudan, focusing on its benefits, challenges, solutions, and factors affecting its use, as well as teachers’ and students’ attitudes toward its integration into the educational process. The findings indicate that technology contributes to improving educational quality and increasing student engagement and interaction, yet its implementation faces challenges related to infrastructure, professional training, and digital resources. The study recommends developing educational policies, enhancing technological and administrative infrastructure, providing specialized training programs for teachers, and improving access to digital devices and the internet to ensure effective integration of technology in Sudanese education. The study also identifies future research directions aimed at optimizing the use of e-learning and modern technologies across different educational levels.
